Look who's in the "pumpkin" patch!  It's "Boo", a little "Harvest" kitty!  She's busy collecting pumpkins for the town's annual "Harvest Fest"!  This is a "whimsical" Harvest vignette, that is sure to make everyone smile!  This is a super easy pattern!  Not a lot of detail work!  The eyes are buttons!  The nose and mouth are painted (the super simple way)...very basic painting!  Not a lot of supplies are needed for "Boo's Patch"!  This pattern comes with very detailed instructions that are done in an "outline" format!   It doesn't get any easier then this!  This pattern also comes with detailed pattern pieces!  ~Boo's Patch~ Harvest Kitty & Pumpkin Patch is 11" Tall!

NEW for Christmas 2013 from Old Road Primitive...~Old Thyme Christmas~ Prim Bear pattern!  If you ~love~ bears then you are going to ~love~ this new vintage style "Prim" Christmas Bear pattern from ORP?  This Christmas bear has movable arms and legs, that are not jointed!  You will learn my simple technique for moveable arms and legs in this pattern!  The shirt and hat are made from sleeves of an old red sweater!  Dressing a bear doesn't get any easier then this!  In this pattern you will also learn my technique for "grunging" this old bear!  It's super easy with great results!  You will ~love~ working with this Old Road Primitives pattern!  This pattern comes with easy to follow, step by step instructions and detailed pattern pieces!  Seam allowances are built into each pattern piece!  This ~Old Thyme Christmas~ Prim Bear is 12" Tall when sitting!  This "Prim" Christmas bear is made using fake" fur!  I could not find a local source for mohair and have discovered that it is very expensive!  You could make this bear using mohair but the "fake" fur works just fine!
This "prim" Christmas bear is best used for decoration purposes!  However, if you wanted to make him for a child, you could but I would recommend using "cotter pin" joints!   Cotter pin joints hold up better for all of the love that a small child has for a bear!   Don't miss out on the "bear" fun!
